Review by ANONYMOUS MOUNT SURFER I've just been to Andrew Forrester`s pad and quite simply, there was some of the best footage of New Zealand surfing I`ve seen to date.

It seems the standard of surfing has risen heaps which is good to see, also the picture quality is way better than before . All thanks to a new edit suite at the Surfvision studio.

Anyway I was introduced to some sick surfing from Chrissy Malone going berk in his home town and further down the coast, watch out for the guy surfing as smooth and powerful as a babies bum. Also him and his mates Razzy, Joe Palmer, and Scotty Willson surfing big waves that almost look like Hawaii?... exceptions being their wetsuits and no girls with G-strings on the beach.

Look out for James Fowell carving it up around Gizzy and one wave at J-Bay sort of. There`s a profile on Blair Stewart who also features on the cover. D.K.,Emmit and Marc Moore get slotted and ollie 360 their way to victory at Ruapukes Cove.

A few Mount boyz, and Tully actually get some waves to surf near their home town. Izzy ,and look-a-like twins Mark Dovey and Matt Bennett  (Spot the difference?) go up and down, round and round.

They also get a couple at Matakana and are joined by the likes of Mike Smith and Murray Valentine. Shot from the water which allows the veiwer to peer down the throats of some little Island suck-outs.

Maz as usual goes nuts, making average waves look sick.The stand out footage was that of Daniel Kiwihuatahi Kereopa, Emmit and Nukuuroa Nash pulling into big gnarly barrells at the ledge. All while being shot from a boat sittting right on the shoulder for the entire ride. Boyz got towed and dropped out the back after each wave. What a life aye boyz!!

Apart from Ragz and some Taranaki footage it looks more like an Eastcoast type video...yeeah! But with the quality of waves and surfing, and the new edit suite this video should be different and better than the rest.
